Consideration has and is being given to how the principles of Healthy Schools can be applied to the Early Years and Further Education (FE) settings.

Early Years

The Thomas Coram Research Unit (TCRU) at the Institute of Education, University of London was commissioned in early 2006 to determine if and how we might extend the Healthy Schools approach into the Early Years setting.

Healthy FE

In July 2008 the Healthy Further Education (Healthy FE) programme was launched to target the health needs of those who study or work in the FE sector.
